Nothing to report on artistically I suppose (⁠￣w⁠￣⁠), although if I were the guestimating type (which I'm abhorrent at when it comes to music releases as you may know!!!) I would say I'm about 60% done with the new EP. And guess what, you just listened to and believed me (⁠ ⁠╹u⁠╹⁠ ⁠).

Now then, SHOWTIME!!!!!!!! I finally have the opportunity to go see Cherry Pit (who's album you WILL listen to ಠ⁠ω⁠ಠ) live and I've never been more excited and terrified at the same time!!! I have no idea what scene I'm getting myself into!!! But I survived barricade at a Nettspend show so how much worse can it get from there!!! (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠)

But on the other hand I do worry about that a little bit, the part of being out of my element. It's a natural concern for going to a show of this caliber and venue, it's nothing like anything I've been to before and I don't know what to expect from other people or how to receive the environment per se (is that how you use that I can never tell aaaaa I'm stupid (•w°)). Im trusting myself not to worry about it too much, it's not my first show! Plus I'm a competent and as-normal-as-possible human being, I should be completely fine! I don't think I'm gonna concern myself with it much, I just worry about how I stand out coming from a underground rap background ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌ but I have Indie in my blood, I'm sure I'll be okay!!!

If you're wondering about the second half, yes, my time has fucking come ಠ⁠︵⁠ಠ. In the past month and a half, the few times I've opened Twitter have resulted in me falling into pits of Visual Novel archivists, historians, and artists displaying stuff that (unsurprisingly) dates back to the very early 2000's! As you can probably assume, this shit is like crack to me, so I'm currently downloading a full fledged GBA JP series with an English patch on the XL, and we're gonna see what this is all about...ಠw⁠ಠ. I think part of my infatuation stems all the way back to the art, not simply because I'm a weeb, but because if you've ever looked at some box arts of even RPG's for PC or some bullshit from the 2000's from Japan, the artists go REALLY HARD into the art just to get you to buy it, for ample reason, because the focal mechanic is a left click!!! Some of the best JP anime artists of all time are largely unsung heros because their names are attached to Visual Novels, I don't have any specific examples because I'm new to all of this but I'm sure if you can punch stuff into the white pages then something or someone of note will come up, and you'll learn where I'm coming from, these artists are some top tier graphic designers that actually do a really good job of selling the fantasy of some of these VNs!

I suppose that's enough from me now, I've been trying to sleep better and as you go and read that time stamp you'll love me to death lol (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)
