All in all I love my Moeshit! Enshitification was imminent since 96 and before, plus it stretched all the way into Yaoi most prevalently too you freaks (iykyk ಠಿwಠ). On top of all of that, my point generally is just do your research! If I can do it, you can too! I don't wanna discourage anyone from ever getting into stuff like this, it's up to you what you do and don't enjoy, and esoterica, genre history, or series history book work shouldn't ever sway you from anything! If you wanna enjoy something you'll learn it all eventually lol, but until then, when you get schooled you'll have no choice but to take it as learnable knowledge ಠωಠ.
I've been seeing that quoted image since 2016, it doesn't phase me anymore with my vast and insurmountable amounts of shitty Shonen slop knowledge (that expands by the month unfortunately (๑•﹏•)).
