You remember where I talked about just happening to come across shows or animes that seemed generally interesting for their pricings? Well, it seems my luck has gradually dwindled across the last few months, with a streak of bad luck across about 3 different series I just happened to take a gamble on ༎‿༎.
No you don't get to know what they are!!!!!!! Because if I tell you, you'll go hunt them down and watch them, and that's worse than me watching them because I will have fed into the interest that EVERYONE HAS that's all like "oh it can't be thattttt badddddd (ಠ_ಠ)ノ" when in reality YES IT CAN BE AND NOBODY EVER LISTENS (〒﹏〒). I COULD HOWEVER delve into why they're terrible, but all you really need to know about #1 is that it in tandem with a gatcha game, and overall was the better of the 3, just so incredibly drug out and slow. #2 however becomes a history lesson, one that warrants its own post under a complete different alias that no one will EVER read because the places where I could post them either don't exist anymore, don't talk about them (fuck Reddit) or are so old it'd go on deaf ears. I do want to say though, I DID post about it, but I know nobody got SS's, so you technically do know what it is, so you'd have to sheer human willpower and dig out a 6/10 by 2007 standards, 3/10 by 2023, trope-y 12 episode load of crap where a reviewer had this to say

Finally, #3 is the most recent one I've had to physically struggle through, I have nothing else to say other than it is 10, 25 minute episodes of actually half decent factoids fed through a show written by the most blatant writers room of pervs it's insane. While yes you could make the argument of "doyyyyy it came out of Japan", normally I wouldn't agree with you, but I'm starting to give up hope ಥ‿ಥ. Yeah I would fight that case, iF THIS WERENT MADE IN 2012, ITS LIKE IT SET THE FUCKING PACR FOR THAT STEREOTYPE IN ONE TINY PACKAGE, I CANT EVEN SAY THAT WAAAAAHGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!
So in reality, what you are witnessing is the beginnings of a complete and total mind break! I got warned awhile ago not to play with fire by a bunch of oldheads when I picked up something called "Hand Maid May" on VHS for like $10 out of the blue, they reminisced over how hard it was to pick out good anime back then since they didn't have the rating resources as a luxury like we do today. I think this is where a switch flipped for me, one where I became determined to gain some kind of "authentic experience" and sort of slash & burn my way through whatever just seemed interesting. Now, that's come back to bite me as a detriment...but at least it's let me see that my median literacy hasn't gone to complete mush since finishing S.A.O.!
As a final note, another thing I've learned!
NOTE TO ALL OF YOU!!! If you ever think of reading some manga or watching some kinda anime, a rule of thumb I've proven over and over recently just for fun: if that shit got more than 5 words as a title, BE CAUTIOUS, more than 7? DONT...AT ALL...
and as a student, these 3 WILL be making an appearance at the next club meeting, for the worse ಠωಠ as bait to my acquaintances to see who's the weakest link trying to get put on, and if they like it, we will have issues that I will ABSOLUTELY clown them on!
