10 years later and an album is still surprising me, and other bits & pieces

Last post was July 18th, I don't remember why I was falling apart with consistency (・–・;)ゞ

This one's quite link heavy too, but for the context of it all I suggest you listen along as they appear (• ▽ •;)

Anyways, subject at hand, I don't know if I ever mentioned it but there is a Flash era arcade racer I grew up on called Super Drift (1-3) that featured music that has since caught up with me all these years later.  Most known for its opening theme, Super Drift features "Trust - A Eurobeat Mix" a song by Ayumi Hamasaki on Super Eurobeat's ayu-ro mix album from 2000 (which imo, is peak years of Eurobeat ( ̄w ̄)).

Actually I wanna focus on 2 songs for a second, cuz this game features my favorite song of all time, a slightly faster mix of Evolve's "Sugar & Spice", overall a prime example of Happy Hardcore that (per Discogs) was one of 2 songs the group made before splitting up.  I personally believe that if it weren't for this song, Hardcore wouldn't have stuck with me in the manner that it did!

Either way, about 2022 I started listening to an artist some of y'all probably know named Goreshit.  I wasn't as huge fan of how much of a mash of sound his style was until "X61" featuring Lil Kevo 303 that I really started to appreciate all the variations in sounds of Hardcore being thrown into one package (should also mention I was listening FOR Kevo, as I'd been a 909 Worldwide fan since it's conception really (*﹏*;)).  Since listening to X61, I decided to branch out into the rest of Goreshit's discography, which led me to his very first self produced album called "watashi wa baka yaro desu", loosely translated to "I am a stupid idiot", this would set the style for the rest of his career. While you don't have to listen to the entire album, the focal point is a 16 minute speedy mix of various trance songs that would become a staple of many EP's "Goretrance 1".  While I don't remember specific parts of it, this mix features TWO songs off ayu-ro, which took me by complete surprise upon hearing them in their original mix, almost 11 years after first listening to fragments of it back in 2014!

It's amazing how time can just catch up in as simple of a manner as a Flash game, making you appreciate something even more!

Anyways, here's a 1975 Mazda Cosmo I traced & filled a few days ago with help from a friend!  Probably my favorite generation of Cosmo for the body design alone, albeit only having a 12A 2-rotor in it for a large-r vehicle.  It came in a Landau top variant as well, which is shown in custom form by a famous rotor name, Mike Whiddett!
body designs also vary across years and countries, go look up some other example of them!
