Fuck you Whygena, you helped me hunt down music I love, wait why would I be mad about that...

I've been racking my brain quite a bit in the past few days (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻, mostly because of a singular Instagram story my friend posted (which is not at all related to the situation in front of me (ヘ・_・)ヘ┳━┳ ) but moreso about the song being used in it, another Trance classic, reclaimed as downtempo and slightly remixed by some modern age Brazilian DJ.  I have absolutely no issue with the latter, I think it's better that people decided to make stuff like it to spread it around to new and old fans, it's more the fact that I cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME, TRACK DOWN THE ORIGINAL MIX ( ✧Д✧)!!!

When I'm presented with songs I don't know, I will always try to go to as many lengths as physically possible to naturally hunt it down, dissecting any lyrics or physical information I can find about them, before I ever go to Shazam or similar as a last resort.  While I'm at about a 50:50 success rate in this method of searching for my favorite tunes, sometimes I don't even need any hunting at all, and they come to me by complete luck.  Such was the case with Vengaboys "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!!" Which I listened to doing research & studies on Dance Pop while combing through a 99-04 comp CD dumped by a relative, I hadn't heard this song in its entirety in at least 10+ years when it wasn't on this CD.  "In it's entirety" feels fucking nuts to say since it's a shining example of the genre, but I need'nt say more to have the dots connect as to why (´ー`;;;).  Weird exposure instances like that are why I tend to trust computer algorithms probably way more than I ever should, as it got mixed into the tail end of my closing shift playlist on a wild hare the numbers got; there's really no other way to tell it, I could feel all the life leave my face hearing it, which sucks cuz its a really good song!!!

Since then I've let YouTube take over on my mixes, and you have no idea how much it's actually pulled through for me
All of these were shuffled in (by whatever algorithm) in back to back succession of each other, in that order, when I had been listening to the Continuous Mix for the last half hour, and for that I would like to pledge my soul to the computer music gods ( ;∀;).  I'd been looking for these after listening to the set for what felt like forever, not often do MC's do big long lyrical spills, and they tend to let the backing tracks carry the moods of their performances, most themselves are fans of the music they do vocals over, and they typically create their own tracklists if the performances are well planned!

As to why I'm listening in YouTube music, that's another story, I'm so unbelievably sleepy and think I might curl into a ball and cash out (◡ ω ◡)

I'm doing research on this van at the moment, if you know anything let me know!  I didn't know people raced these things at all????????
