WHERE THE HELL AM I??? ヘ(。□°)ヘ

Aside from the title, by the time this reaches you all I'll probably be smack dab in the middle of the ocean.  I have a strange love for the sea and all its interesting creatures and am particularly fond of Sharks of all kinds!

I can hear you laughing (눈‸눈)

I don't think I've ever talked about my sampling for music, whether it be audio clips or sound for general usage.  While I don't do much for tuning sound outside of a pluck I'm trying to lab with a field recording of a really tight ratchet strap (I recorded it in like...November...), I would like to believe my audio clips have some half decent references to some of my favorite things from Youtube I've been able to work into music.  A personal favorite of mine to use is Zelda CDI Ganon saying "...or else you will die!" Which I've used in multiple unreleaseds, but is featured on some of my SoundCloud songs.  One in particular that I'm trying to use as an speedcore intro was brought to me by my friend Robert in middle school, featuring a banned PS2 commercial with some cats (original by AlienMyth64), now, as a PS2 owner, the shit DOES got a million scratches and it still works...BWAHHHHHH!!!!

Something I do want to get into though is creating and mixing some intros to songs to build a better atmosphere, while I still haven't figured out Bitdepth modifying to create a destroyed digital playback sound, I do want to find a way to harvest some and tweak it.

And I know I don't talk about it enough, SO PRIME EXAMPLE, one of my favorite art medias ever:

I seriously cannot exaggerate enough how much I love I cant sleep,  I myself don't want to do an analysis on it here and I never want you guys to ever watch any.  HOWEVER, I DO want you to watch pretty much all of their mainline story videos front to back and formulate you own ideas on what things symbolize and what the series is going for as a whole.  When I initially discovered ICS I was looking for audio inspiration when it came to mixing (which I still can't pull off), and I had the misfortune of letting a video essay mould my mind to come at it with a preset perspective.  Despite that, because the videos creator was a pussy, the video above blew me out of the water completely and I decided all I needed to do was kick back and watch and let the overall meaning make itself clear to me as I enjoyed it.  Truth be told, there are only 3 reasons I do all of my art in black & white
1. I have a strange disdain for color theory
2. Stephen Gamill
3. I cant sleep
(It's really not that hard guys ( ͠° ͟ʖ °͠ ) )

Some closing thoughts I do want to leave you about ICS though, do not let me influence you either...

Since I have no better word for it, the Webcore or Y2K grunge or goth aesthetic of art is a dying style that almost can't be replicated without actively practicing it.  While ISC's first videos are plainly digitally created, the flatness of the style is insanely hard to work with if you look at how motion is indicated, most practicing artists will understand that.  To me that tells me this is a series that's been in the works for a VERY long time even predating the channel's creation (this is where you look around and do your research (✯ᴗ✯)), however, it's creator has BEEN making art like this and has an amazing story to tell through it.

Now then, the other points I was gonna make were about something more paranormal...but that's a story for a different time...

As I mentioned last week about a Viper-ish FD, here it is!
This is the Top Fuel Racing RX-7 FD, (if I remember correctly) a 600ps machine built sometime before 2000 (when 600ps was a lot!) coming from just a 2 rotor 13B-TT for the sole intent of drag racing, modeled solely off of...you guessed it...the first gen Dodge Viper!  The official demo car pictured below however, has the rear end of RE-Amemiya's GReddy8 to more adequately fit the custom style, and to better shape the Viper build of the car!
