nothing special ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
I've been particularly happy recently, especially after pushing myself through a lot of school work and side projects (unfortunately not including music, been in a rut (￣ヘ￣) )!
Old Nintendo's 3DS is one of, if not my favorite system I've ever had the pleasure of owning, having owned one since the first 3DS hit US shores back in 2011! You nerds like me out there may be asking "oh but didn't that NXL release in 2015?". To which the answer is YES!!!!!! Indeed it did, but I saved a bunch throughout 2017-2019 to get a new one, but was gifted a boxed Sun & Moon edition N3DSXL (the one pictured, doyyyyy (≧▽≦)) over Christmas around that time! This was to replace the original from 2011 that suffered an SD reader malfunction where it couldn't draw from the card in it to save games or files. However, circa 2025, that one has been restored to working order!!! After about 3 months of research and prodding at the reader, I managed to reset the locking switch to get it to read the OEM MicroSD from the XL that I'd put in an adapter, where it read and wrote just fine! (It turns out, both SD cards I'd been using to test it had died (╥﹏╥) ).
Apart from everything, I don't think I've done a comprehensive of some of my physical collections! Mostly comprised of Manga's & Games and a small section of CD's, I've been working on collecting things I know I'll actually appreciate and get enjoyment out of, I'm not some dickhead reseller...

Here's a photo of the process too, plus a stray CD that made the process of repairs tolerable (￣︶￣), the idea here was to get the full cover off (and later the backing) to see what would've been necessary to fully replace the SD reader in the event I had to, thankfully further in this process I was presented with a few tweaks to pull on Reddit before I did a big disassembly!
To be honest I'm not sure what sparked such enjoyment of the system, as a child I never used it as much as I do now, so there's inherently no nostalgia I have rooted in it. That doesn't speak for the rest of Nintendo though, as the Nintendo that made this system was on a whole different level that the corporate freaks that are modern Nintendo (long story), I personally find a lot of comfort in Mario Kart, having played and beaten N64, Super Circuits, Wii, DS, 7, 8 & 8DX as well as the Arcade, and as many of their online counterparts, but the most I ever spent time on was 7. 7 United me to a lot of cool people in both real life (pre modding) and afterwards, being in several CTGP7 communities and having made so many friends over it, it's quite easy to discern where my love for the system has come from after all this time!
